Our Mission
to you.

Serving in a consistent, honest and loving manner, while being an active representation of God, our families and community

A positive influence can have a significant impact on growth – from childhood to adulthood. Everyone has unique experiences and knowledge to share for the betterment of their community. For agents at Manna Insurance Group, their contribution lies within the insurance solutions issued for businesses, families, and individuals.

Our agency operates under the philosophy that it’s not only important to be there when something goes wrong, but also proactively game plan for future scenarios. Proper insurance coverage can decrease risk, secure finances, and provide peace of mind to the insured. Through reliable insurance services, we strive to create a lasting impact on the lives of our clients.

Our capabilities are extensive. With advanced software, we’re able to efficiently stay up-to-date on renewals as they arise. Service doesn’t end after a policy is developed. Instead, agents continuously monitor policies so information is accurate and rates are competitive.

Through our business endeavors and community service initiatives, we operate on a foundation of trust, service, and reliability. We look forward to building this influence for decades to come.

Community Involvement

The Gwendolyn Strong Foundation

As the Lions and Lyncs battle for town bragging rights this week, the two rivals will once again be united for a cause far bigger than the game.

For the second straight year, Lynden and Lynden Christian have teamed to use the annual boys and girls basketball games between the two schools as a platform to recognize cancer’s impact on the Lynden community and to raise funds to fight it.

“It’s really cool to be a part of something that is so much bigger than the game of basketball,” said LC head coach Roger DeBoer, who helped begin the Catfight for Cancer last year. “It’s just such a testament to the Lynden community and their support of the cause.”

This year’s Catfight for Cancer will span two nights, with the boys game scheduled to tip off at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday and the girls game at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Both games will be held at Lynden Christian High School.

Last year’s event took place at Jake Maberry Gymnasium, whose larger capacity allowed for the games to be played back-to-back on the same night.

The event will again feature a T-shirt fundraiser, which raised nearly $8,500 last year. Bob’s Burgers & Brew, Manna Insurance Group and Cloud 9 Sports have donated 600 hot-pink Catfight for Cancer T-shirts that will be for sale at the games — and at both high school main offices Wednesday through Friday — for a suggested donation of $10. All proceeds will again go to the PeaceHealth St. Joseph Cancer Center.

Everyone attending the event is encouraged to wear hot pink to signify the town’s unified support in the fight against cancer.

As part of a special halftime ceremony at both the boys and girls games, honorary coaches — individuals who have been impacted by cancer and have a connection to the team — will be announced for each side, and their stories shared. Both teams will remain on the court during the ceremony.

With a particularly large crowd anticipated for the boys game on Thursday, ticket sales will begin at 3:30 p.m., at which time the doors to the gym will open. There will be no ticket presales.

In conjunction with the early gym opening is a chicken dinner fundraiser from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. for fans who wish to arrive early and reserve their spot. A chicken basket dinner, prepared by Rose DeGroot at Fairway Café, will be available for $8. The dinner includes fried chicken, a baked potato, a cookie and a drink. All proceeds will go to the PeaceHealth St. Joseph Cancer Center.
